Introduction: Based on the results of the 2018 Basic Health Research, the prevalence of obesity in adults aged 18 years and over in Indonesia was 21.8%, the prevalence of obesity in Bali was 23.3%, while the prevalence of obesity was highest in Denpasar City, namely 27.8%. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of providing nutrition education videos via Instagram on online food consumption behavior and the obesity status of Universitas Terbuka (UT) Denpasar students. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design . The size of this study was 77 samples. Using a nonparametric test, namely the Wilcoxon test . The research results showed that before and after the intervention, the average knowledge score was 86.8 to 89.7. The average attitude score before and after intervention was from 81.4 to 85.6. And the average action score before and after intervention was from 87.2 to 89.9. The Wilcoxon test results stated that there was an effect of providing nutritional education videos on knowledge, attitudes and actions with a p value < 0.05.
